As a proud Sicilian, when I discover that others also appreciate my land as much as I do, I can only be happy and satisfied.
So I am delighted to share the Time Magazine article with you, which included Sicily among the World's 100 Greatest Places of 2021, along with other fantastic destinations from around the world, including the Maldives, New York, and Tokyo!
Time states that "our third annual list of the World’s Greatest Places is a tribute to the people and businesses at the forefront of those industries who, amid extraordinary circumstances, found ways to adapt, build and innovate."
Focusing on Sicily, Time emphasizing the effort made by those entrepreneurs who wanted to bet on our island despite this last period so unfortunate for tourism.
I congratulate the other Italian destinations that Time has included in the list: Tuscany and Venice!
