TAORMINA
Taormina is one of the fascinating villages in Sicily. Favorite summer destination of aristocrats and glamorous characters, Taormina has become a stop not to be missed if you come to Sicily. The theater of Taormina is one of the most symbolic monuments in Sicily. Its spectacular location offers a magnificent view of the coast and Mount Etna.
CEFALU'
Magnificent fishing village on the sea, Cefalù retains its medieval style. The majestic Norman-style Cathedral dominates the main square. Do not miss a stop at Piazza del Duomo, where you can enjoy a fresh granita with a view of the cathedral. The old port is the ideal place for a stopover with a sea view.
MARSALA
The city is famous thanks to the wine that takes its name. Marsala is a fortified wine much appreciated by Sicilians and beyond. Here the Florio Cellars were born, founded by the historic Palermitan family.
MONREALE
A few minutes from Palermo, Monreale offers an exceptional panorama of the Sicilian capital. The Cathedral, from the severe exterior, shines inside thanks to the wonderful golden Byzantine mosaics. Do not miss the wonderful cloister.
ERICE
Erice is a small but delightful village located on Mount San Giuliano. The medieval style is well preserved. The paths, arches, houses, and churches are all made of stone, with many views allowing a glimpse of breathtaking views of the north and west coasts.
SCIACCA
Sciacca is a charming fishing village known for its thermal baths, beautiful red coral, and precious ceramics. The walk in the town will take you to the visit of Palazzo Steripinto, dating back to 1500, built in the Gothic-Catalan style.
VAL DI NOTO
The Val di Noto area is mainly known for its charming villages, beautiful churches, and palaces decorated in Baroque style, the natural parks, which offer various fauna and flora. To this is added the great food and wine heritage. The area boasts the production of Sicilian wine excellence. The most important towns are certainly Noto and Modica.
